He is the son of renowned Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans and has developed his own career in music and entertainment. About Navraj Hans
Navraj Hans was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India, and comes from a prominent musical family. His father, Hans Raj Hans, is a well-known Punjabi folk and Sufi singer. Navraj has spoken about developing his own identity rather than relying solely on his family background.
Before concentrating fully on music, Navraj had an interest in cricket and studied business in the United Kingdom. In an interview, he explained that his exposure to the music of artists such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Ghulam Ali during his time in the UK played an important role in strengthening his interest in singing. He later moved toward a professional career in music.
Navraj began his professional musical career in the early 2010s. His song “Saiyaan” appeared in the Punjabi film Burrraahh, while his Bollywood playback work includes “Jind Meriye” from Purani Jeans and “Rail Gaddi” from Tutak Tutak Tutiya.
He gained wider Bollywood recognition through songs such as “Raj Karega Khalsa,” “Jatt Jaguar,” “Chhote Chhote Peg,” and “Mundiyan.” He has worked with singers and composers including Daler Mehndi, Neha Kakkar, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Palak Muchhal, Himesh Reshammiya, Jonita Gandhi, and others.
