About the Movie Biwi No.1 (1999)
Biwi No. 1 revolves around Prem Mehra, a successful businessman who lives a comfortable life with his loving wife, Pooja, and their children. Although Pooja is devoted to her family, Prem begins feeling attracted to Rupali, a beautiful and ambitious model who enters his life through his advertising business.
Prem gradually develops an extramarital relationship with Rupali and starts neglecting his wife and children. When Pooja discovers the truth about her husband's affair, she becomes heartbroken and decides to take control of the situation. With the help of her close friend Lakhan, Pooja transforms her appearance and lifestyle to regain Prem's attention. Meanwhile, Prem continues struggling to balance his family responsibilities and his relationship with Rupali. As misunderstandings, jealousy and comic situations unfold, Prem finds himself caught between his wife and his girlfriend. Eventually, he realises the importance of his family and understands the value of Pooja's love and dedication.
