Subodhh Sharma is an Indian singer, musician and music arranger from Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. He comes from a musical family and is the son of Pt. Prithvi Raj Sharma, a composer and poet. Having grown up around music, poetry and riyaaz, Subodhh began learning music at an early age.
After moving to Mumbai around 12 years ago to pursue a career in music, Subodhh spent years working behind the scenes as a musician, arranger and collaborator. His major breakthrough came with the 2026 film Awarapan 2, where he made his Bollywood playback-singing debut with “Ve Junoon.”
Subodhh Sharma was born and raised in Jammu in a family deeply connected with music. His father, Pt. Prithvi Raj Sharma, is a composer and poet, and his musical upbringing exposed him to compositions, poetry and regular musical practice from childhood.
Subodhh later moved to Mumbai with the ambition of establishing himself in the music industry. Rather than becoming an overnight singing sensation, he spent approximately 12 years developing his career behind the scenes, working as a musician, arranger and collaborator. He also worked with his father on musical compositions, contributing vocals, arrangements and production.
His breakthrough arrived when his singing videos shared on social media attracted attention. This eventually led to his selection for Awarapan 2, where he made his playback debut with “Ve Junoon,” composed by Mithoon and written by Sayeed Quadri.
Subodhh subsequently became associated with new versions of the iconic Awarapan songs “Tera Mera Rishta” and “Toh Phir Aao,” originally sung by Mustafa Zahid. His versions were released as part of Awarapan 2 in 2026.
