Awarapan 2 (2026) Songs Lyrics
Awarapan 2 is a Hindi action, crime and romantic drama directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Vishesh Bhatt. The film brings Emraan Hashmi back as Shivam Pandit, continuing the story of the character from Awarapan (2007). The main cast includes Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi.
Set nineteen years after the events of the original film, the story follows Shivam as he is drawn back into the criminal underworld. His journey becomes a struggle involving redemption, love, sacrifice and his past, with his choices determining his future.
The film also continues the emotional musical identity associated with the Awarapan franchise, with composers including Mithoon, Amaal Mallik, Jeet Gannguli and others contributing to its soundtrack. Mithoon also revisited the musical world of the original, including a new interpretation of “Tera Mera Rishta.”
About the Movie Awarapan 2 (2026)
Awarapan 2 takes forward the journey of Shivam Pandit, a character marked by violence, loss and emotional isolation. After nineteen years, Shivam finds himself pulled back into the underworld, where his past and present collide.

Story Review
Awarapan 2 combines action, crime, romance and emotional drama, while attempting to preserve the darker and more emotional atmosphere associated with the original film. Emraan Hashmi's return as Shivam is central to the sequel, while the film's music and nostalgic connection to Awarapan are important elements of its appeal.
The sequel received mixed-to-positive reviews, with praise particularly directed toward Emraan Hashmi's intense performance, the emotional tone, action sequences and music. Some criticism focused on the predictable storyline and the romance not reaching the impact of the original.
