About Shobhinaw Satyaa
Shobhinaw Satyaa was born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He developed an interest in acting and filmmaking and trained at the Opulent School of Acting and Films in Lucknow. He later joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, where he further developed his skills in acting and filmmaking.
Satyaa initially built his career behind the camera rather than as a mainstream actor. He worked as an assistant director and gained practical experience across different film and television productions. This background gave him an understanding of filmmaking, scripts, continuity and the demands of working on a professional set.
His major breakthrough came with Hanuman Ansh (2026). Satyaa had originally joined the project as an assistant director, but when the actor initially chosen to play Neem Karoli Baba became ill, director Vishal Chaturvedi asked Satyaa to audition for the role. After an audition, he was selected to play the central character.
For the role, Satyaa immersed himself deeply in the character of Neem Karoli Baba. Reports describe how he spent time living in a temple environment during the shoot and tried to understand the spiritual personality he was portraying. His performance became one of the major talking points surrounding Hanuman Ansh.
The success of Hanuman Ansh has made Shobhinaw Satyaa a new name to watch in Hindi cinema.
